We have been very lucky in that everything anyone could possibly want was in he house we rent. Now, you mentioned beach chairs...I would never think of a rental supplying beach chairs. Deck furniture naturally, but not chairs for the beach!! Am I wrong??
As an owner, I think of what I would want as a renter, so I try to provide as much as possible for renters so they have an enjoyable time and aren’t too inconvenienced with having to go get stuff.
Due to the fact that things get ruined, go missing, whatever, I don’t list any of the “extras” in my listing. This way I don’t get complaints when items are not there that were not advertised.
Some extras I always try to have in the house:
Keurig and 2 coffee pots
2 grills (built in park grill and propane grill)
6-8 beach chairs (cheapies, with a few backups in the owners closet)
Beach cart (absolute necessity)
Beach toys, games (always go missing or disappear)
Electric wine openers (2 seasons still there, lucky)
Karaoke machine (completely unnecessary, but fun)
Hammock (nice touch)
Frozen drink maker (on the fence about keeping it out)
2 different gaming systems (good to have for kids, although I have noticed they get moved around to different TVs and mess up the cable)
2 stereos (same as gaming systems, they tend to get moved around)
Edit:flat screens & cable in every room, total of 10 TVs
Since I’ve only owned for 2 years, I still try to add stuff every year I guess until it gets old or I get tired of throwing money away.
